Join us for bouquet making and local honey! This event will provide an in-depth exploration of the Victorian language of flowers and its use by queer individuals to convey messages to their loved ones discreetly. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the historical context and significance of this symbolic communication method. If you need disability related accommodations (e.g. captioning, materials in an accessible format) to facilitate full participation please contact khouri@american.edu at least three business days prior to the event.
