Now in its 20th year, the Women & Politics Institute's nonpartisan WeLead training program successfully positions young professional women to run for office or lead a political campaign. WPI is dedicated to closing the gender gap in the political arena and is proud to offer our WeLead program to accepted applicants at no cost.

WeLead consists of six weekend all-day training sessions, in addition to other optional networking and professional events. Training sessions are held at American University in Northwest Washington, D.C. Attendance is required at all sessions to remain in good standing and to graduate from the program.
