Resources for Translating Research into Action

What is Research Translation?

Any effort that seeks to connect research to the needs or interests of institutions or people beyond academia, including:

  • Conveying research findings to public or practitioner audiences
  • Involving potential end-users of research in the research process

Potential end-users may be government agencies, non-profit organizations, private sector firms, community groups, and others.

SOAR Seminar Series Societal Outcomes. Actionable Research.

Seminar speakers will explain how they engaged in research translation and what lessons they have learned from this process. Each month, the SOAR Seminar Series will provide an opportunity for community engagement around our institutional commitment to research-policy-practice engagement.
